  • Publication number: 20060102278
Abstract: A method for the production of a wood composite board is provided that comprises the steps of: providing a quantity of wood in the form of strands; coating the wood strands with a binder composition to from coated strands; forming a mat from the coated strands; exposing said mat to steam; ventilating steam; and pressing the mat, at a high temperature, to form the wood composite board having a final thickness.

  • Publication number: 20050257469
Abstract: The panelized roof sheathing construction system includes a plurality of panels attached to a building frame structure in substantially abutting relationship. Each panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop the outward facing surface of the panel. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. Joints between panels are sealed by strips of water resistant tape or the like. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners.

  • Publication number: 20050246308
Abstract: An investigative method, comprising a variety of strategic step controls to prevent user misuse including displaying the entire arc only when the second order implication stage is complete, allowing the option of timing from one assigned point of view only when timing was assigned, presenting third order nodes only when there is at least one positive and at least one negative second order implication, reminding the user to provide input if a predetermined amount of time has passed from the last receipt of input, permitting scoring of an arc only when scoring is assigned, disabling editability of implication text if scoring was assigned, directing a user to a scoring interface if only scoring was assigned, displaying desirability buttons and likelihood buttons when scoring, displaying a minority report interface when the minority report button is clicked, precluding acceptance of an incomplete minority report, precluding an option of time from all assigned points of view if time was not assigned and displaying

  • Publication number: 20050229524
Abstract: The invention comprises a wall sheathing barrier system having moisture permeability and simple improved installation method. The system comprises adjoined structural panels. Each panel has an overlay paper bonded permanently to the structural panel, which provides a moisture permeable barrier and a textured skid-resistant surface. The skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. Further, the seams of adjoining panels are sealed with a sealing means to complete the moisture barrier.

  • Publication number: 20050229504
Abstract: The panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop its outward facing surface. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, applying heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting panels to predetermined sizes.

  • Publication number: 20050203759
Abstract: A method of exploring including the steps of writing center text; displaying the center text in a center node; writing first order implications, each first order implication forming at least a part of an arc; displaying each first order implication in a first order node; connecting each first order node to the center node; writing any desired child implications of any existing implications; displaying the child implications in child nodes; and connecting the child nodes to an associated parent node to form a wheel.

  • Patent number: 6634729
Abstract: In an apparatus for applying ink patterns on oriented strand boards, the boards are serially moved closely adjacent to and past ink jets, and ink is deposited on the boards. To deposit the ink accurately on the boards they are advanced by pinch and drive rollers which also ensure that the boards are flat as they move past the jets. Detectors are used to detect boards which cannot be flattened or are irregular in shape and in such a case the ink jets are moved to avoid impact by an irregular board. During printing, the panels and the ink jets are about 0.0625 inches to about 0.125 inches apart, and the panels are moved at a rate of about 150 ft/minute to 600 ft/minute.
