Abstract: A method of playing a POKER style game, by dealing a plurality of playing cards to each of a plurality of players; and having the individual players bet against one another as to the perceived values of the playing cards they are each holding, wherein each playing card has a letter and a number thereon, wherein the values of the playing cards held by each player are determined by the players forming words from the letters printed on the playing cards, and wherein the point value of the word is determined by adding the numbers on each of the playing cards used to form the word.
