  • Publication number: 20250137227
Abstract: A motor grader having a front frame coupled with a rear frame, supported on front and rear wheels. A controller determines a position of actuators operably coupled with a blade attached to the grader, an articulation angle of the rear frame relative to the front frame, and a front wheel steering angle of the front wheels. The controller determines movement of the front and rear frames based on the articulation angle and the front wheel steering angle as the wheels travel over a ground surface. The controller determines a blade position and blade movement of with respect to the front and rear frames based on the position of actuators, rigid body acceleration of the motor grader, and physical characteristics of the machine assembly. The controller determines a blade trajectory path of the blade based on the movement of the front and rear frames, blade position, and blade movement.

  • Patent number: 12013702
Abstract: A mobile work machine includes a frame, a material loading system having a material receiving area configured to receive material and an actuator configured to control the material loading system to move the material receiving area relative to the frame, and a control system configured to receive an indication of a detected object, determine a location of the object relative to the material loading system, and generate a control signal that controls the mobile work machine based on the determined location.

  • Patent number: 11639193
Abstract: Systems and methods for steering a vehicle that adjust how quickly a selected steering input is achieved based on a speed at which the vehicle is traveling are disclosed. The systems and methods include receiving a steering input, detecting a vehicle speed, and selecting a steering ramp rate that defines how quickly a steering amount corresponding to the steering input is achieved by one or more steerable components of the vehicle. In some implementations, the steering ramp rate may be affected as a result of whether the steering input is greater than or less than a previous steering input.

  • Patent number: 11518289
Abstract: A material type identifier identifies a type of material loaded into a dump truck. When the dump truck is unloaded, a flow rate identification system identifies a flow rate of material exiting the dump truck. A flow rate controller automatically controls the tailgate actuator based on a desired flow rate of material exiting the dump body of the dump truck.
