Patent number: 9851272Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a pre-formed diaphragm located at the distal end of a pressure sensor. The diaphragm has a convex surface on a first side of the diaphragm which is exposed to a fluid to be measured. A strain gauge is attached to a second surface on the opposite side of the diaphragm. The diaphragm may be deformed to have the convex curvature on the first surface, and heat treated.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2015Date of Patent: December 26, 2017Assignee: Viatran CorporationInventors: Surinder Sood, Joel D. Neri, William Wilson

Patent number: 9607596Abstract: The hammer union pressure transducer engages with a cinch nut of a hammer union coupling to cinch a nose end toward an internal sealing surface of a male component of the hammer union coupling. The transducer includes a connection end removably threaded to the nose end. An anti-rotation device engages the connection end and the nose end, inhibiting inadvertent unthreading. The anti-rotation device is removable or shearable, allowing unthreading of the connection end from the nose end as desired. A recess may be formed on the external sealing surface of the nose end and an insert may be disposed in the recess. The insert, if used, may be formed of a material that is different from a material of the nose end. An upgrade kit may also be employed and includes an adapter plate to connect to the nose end.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2013Date of Patent: March 28, 2017Assignee: Viatran CorporationInventors: Surinder Sood, Matthew D. Miles, John R. Biagioni, Joel D. Neri

Patent number: 7507453Abstract: Disclosed in this specification is a decal assembly comprising a decal support, a releasable covercoat, a heat activatable layer, and an ink layer. The ink layer forms a digital image. The heat activatable layer has a high adhesion to a ceramic substrate at high temperatures and a low adhesion to the substrate at lower temperatures. Thus the adhesive properties of the decal are activated by heat. The resulting image has excellent adhesion to the substrate and resists the effects of washing.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2006Date of Patent: March 24, 2009Assignee: International Imaging Materials, IncInventors: Pamela A. Geddes, Daniel J. Harrison, Jim Ibarra, Claire A Jalbert, Joel D. Neri, Michael J. Draper

Patent number: 6990904Abstract: A thermal transfer assembly that comprises a thermal transfer ribbon and a covercoated transfer sheet. The thermal transfer ribbon includes a support and a ceramic ink layer. The ceramic ink layer is present at a coating weight of from about 2 to about 15 grams per square meter, and it includes from about 15 to about 94.5 percent of a solid carbonaceous binder, and at least one of a film-forming glass frit, an opacifying agent and a colorant (at a combined level for the film forming glass frit, the opacifying agent and the colorant of at least 0.5 weight percent).Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2003Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: International Imaging Materials, IncInventors: Jim Ibarra, Rick Wallace, Karen A. Walsh-Clemens, Barry L. Marginean, Mike Tato, Pamela A. Geddes, Joel D. Neri, Robert P. Wilbert, Barry Briggs

Patent number: 6835012Abstract: A ribbon cassette containing a supply core, a web located on the supply core, a storage core, a device for increasing the tension on the web as it passes from said supply core to said storage core to produce a tensioned web, a drive roller contiguous with the web, and a nip roller contiguous with the web. The said tensioned web is passed in a first rotary direction around a portion of the drive roller, and then it is passed in a second rotary direction around a portion of the nip roller, and then it is passed in a in rotary direction identical to the first rotary direction around a portion of the storage core. A nip is formed between the nip roller, the web, and the drive roller such that either the nip roller or the drive roller is compressed by at least about 0.001 percent.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2002Date of Patent: December 28, 2004Assignee: International Imaging Materials Inc.Inventor: Joel D Neri
