    Abstract: An antenna structure and method are disclosed. A faraday cage is operable to shield a conductive resonator, the faraday cage comprising an electromagnetically-shielding ground plane. A shorting pin is coupled to the conductive resonator and the electromagnetically-shielding ground plane, and is operable to electrically couple the conductive resonator to the electromagnetically-shielding ground plane.
