Publication number: 20260116689Abstract: A machine comprises a pick and place stage and includes a plurality of releasable connectors. A support material is wound over rollers onto a storage roller or spool. The backing support material provides a substantially flat surface upon which a sheet of flexible material is placed by the pick and place stage. The sheet of material and the backing support material are then wound onto the storage roller or spool which may be removed for storage and/or transportation. Delicate sheets of pieces of flat material, such as carbon fibre, may thus be protected from damage during handling, storage and transportation that may otherwise result in damage to the material. The process is reversed to lay down the material, for example into a mould, during manufacture of, for example, an aeroplane wing.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2024Publication date: April 30, 2026Inventors: Timothy Matthew GARTON, Ian David REDMAN, Nathan Samuel Bayliss GRIST, Joel EDWARDS, James Champion STREATFEILD

Publication number: 20250377470Abstract: The described techniques relate to an improved method for geothermal imaging. The method may include obtaining raw seismic data from seismic receivers distributed with reference to a geological zone and detecting a tremor event from the raw seismic data. The detecting may include generating processed seismic data from the raw seismic data; generating spectral representations; generating, for pairs of seismic receivers, a covariance matrix including a cross-spectra between pairs of the spectral representations; generating a time-frequency representation of the processed seismic data; fitting synthetic resonance spectra to the time-frequency representation of the processed seismic data on a per-time-instance basis; and identifying a subset of the processed seismic data based on the fitting, where the subset of the processed seismic data is representative of the tremor event. After detecting the tremor event, method may include outputting candidate locations representative of a source of the tremor event.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2024Publication date: December 11, 2025Inventors: Joel EDWARDS, Sean MAHER, Carl HOILAND, Hao ZHANG
