Publication number: 20240091617Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also comprise one or more fitness accessories that can brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 28, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Timothy Shawn Sudeith, Sarah Mae Howard, Benjamin Tiffin, Joel Greenblatt, Joseph Sweeney, Aaron Jon Baumgartner, Justin Lee

Patent number: 11920575Abstract: A pump for inflating tires with air is provided. The pump includes a body having a base and a top portion and a cutout configured to receive a tire of a bicycle. The base is configured to be anchored to the ground. The pump includes a handle assembly including a piston rod and a handle bar. The pump includes a tube positioned in the body and secured to at least one plate in the body. The tube slidably receives the piston rod and is connected to an air line. The pump includes a hose connected to the air line and extending from the body. The hose has a head configured to engage a nozzle of the tire. When the piston rod is moved downward within the tube, air is displaced from the tube and through the air line to the hose such that the head dispenses air.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Everlast Climbing Industries, Inc.Inventor: Joel Greenblatt

Publication number: 20230052336Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to climbing wall assemblies having a variety of improvements. For instance, the climbing wall assemblies may include connectors to attach the surface panels to the framework, in which the connectors may be mounted substantially anywhere along the front of the framework and at substantially any angle, providing for the securement of climbing panels in various geometries. The climbing wall assemblies may also include braces that may easily be adjusted to a desired length and configuration during construction of a climbing wall. The climbing wall assemblies may also include variable-angle, integral front posts, which provide for the easy and stable securement of climbing panels in various geometries. These improvements provide climbing wall assemblies that may be easily assembled to produce a desirable climbing wall structure having few framework components.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2022Publication date: February 16, 2023Inventors: Timothy Shawn Sudeith, Sarah Mae Howard, Joel Greenblatt, Joseph Sweeney

Patent number: 11370501Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a bicycle parking structure comprising a plurality of bicycle hangers supported by a crossbar assembly. Each bicycle hanger is configured to support a bicycle in a substantially vertical position. The bicycle hangers are spaced apart from one another along the length of the crossbar assembly. Each of the bicycle hangers may be secured to the crossbar assembly so that the bicycle hanger is fixed at a desired position or unsecured from the crossbar assembly so that the position of the bicycle hanger along the length of the crossbar assembly may be adjusted. In this manner, the distance between adjacent bicycles need not be fixed and the bicycle parking structure can be adapted for a particular space. The bicycle parking structure is designed to provide for a space-efficient, high-volume parking of bicycles.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Joel Greenblatt, Andrew Kennedy Lageson
