  • Patent number: 11920449
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for centralized monitoring and control of a hydraulic fracturing operation. The system includes an electric powered fracturing fleet and a centralized control unit coupled to the electric powered fracturing fleet. The electric powered fracturing fleet can include a combination of one or more of: electric powered pumps, turbine generators, blenders, sand silos, chemical storage units, conveyor belts, manifold trailers, hydration units, variable frequency drives, switchgear, transformers, and compressors. The centralized control unit can be configured to monitor and/or control one or more operating characteristics of the electric powered fracturing fleet.

  • Patent number: 4378748
Abstract: A sailboat carries a pair of opposed keel sections which are angularly positionable about a common hinge axis, either as a keel unit or individually, by means of compressed air biased hydraulic actuators connected via shock absorbers to the keel sections. An additional hydraulic actuator, adjusts the angle of elevation of the hinge axis, enabling the keel unit or sections, when inclined, to provide hydrodynamic lift. The keel sections, which are hollow and contain radially flowable ballast, are configured, when oppositely horizontally positioned to receive the axles of removable wheels, enabling the boat to be self-trailered.

  • Patent number: 4044703
Abstract: A sailboat pivotally carries a pair of weighted complementary shaped keels for independent rotation about a common longitudinally directed medial hinge axis for influencing the roll, moment of inertia and draft of the boat. The keels are independently supported at variable angles with respect to the vertical by lines directed upward along opposite sides of the boat. The upper ends of the lines are attached to a winch mechanism within the boat which includes one rotatable drum for varying the angle between the keels while maintaining the orientation of the angle bisector substantially constant and another rotatable drum for varying the orientation of the angle bisector while maintaining the angle between the keels substantially constant. A bolt carried slideably by the keels selectively locks the keels together for rotation as a unit. The bolt is remotely operated from within the boat via a controlling cable.
