  • Publication number: 20250317240
Abstract: To improve the probability of receiving a link layer block, a block retransmission repetition scheme may be utilized. Block retransmission repetition may enable link layer blocks to be included more than once in a retransmission, thereby increasing the probability that the retransmitted link layer block can be successfully received. In some approaches, a quantity of retransmissions of a link layer block may be determined without explicitly signaling the quantity of retransmissions. For instance, a wireless device may determine the quantity of retransmissions based on a quantity of negative acknowledgments and a limit on link layer blocks associated with the payload. Determining the quantity of retransmissions without explicitly signaling the quantity may avoid consuming bits in a packet header for explicitly indicating the quantity, thereby reducing complexity or reducing the time taken over the air for the additional bits in the packet header.

  • Patent number: 12375905
Abstract: Various aspects include methods for supporting context broadcast networking by a device. Aspects provide a cross ecosystem platform that enable seamless user experiences from device centric and fragmented user experiences. Some aspects may include decrypting a broadcast message received from a radio controller if the received broadcast message indicates an account identity value matching a pre-calculated account identity value and is not a duplicate, generating data elements from the decrypted broadcast message, storing the data elements in a data cache; and signaling an interrupt indicating that the data elements are available. Further aspects include a radio controller receiving a first scan interval from a primary host and a second scan interval from a secondary host of the device; scheduling primary host scan windows based on the first scan interval, and cancelling any secondary host second scan windows overlapping any of the scheduled primary host first scan windows.

  • Publication number: 20240397568
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for managing a group of Wi-Fi-enabled wearable or handheld wireless devices using a shared address. Some aspects more specifically relate to a negotiation of a shared address that corresponds to a group of Wi-Fi-enabled wearable or handheld devices and use of the shared address during a connection setup procedure for the group. In some implementations, by performing the connection setup procedure using the shared address, one wearable or handheld device may perform the connection setup procedure on behalf of the group. Wearable or handheld devices of the group also may exchange packets to indicate, with respect to the shared address, respective link identifiers (IDs) uniquely corresponding to each respective wearable or handheld device of the group, which the wearable or handheld devices of the group may use to differentiate traffic intended for different wearable or handheld devices of the group.

  • Publication number: 20240284301
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for extending the range of a personal audio device connected to a personal wireless communication device via enabling the personal audio device to connect to and communicate with the personal wireless communication device via an access point (AP). An AP may have a larger range than a personal wireless communication device, and accordingly, an AP may be used to stream audio or voice calls to the personal audio device when the direct link quality between the personal audio device and the personal wireless communication device is below a threshold. To reduce latency and packet loss associated with transitions between communicating with the personal wireless communication device directly and via the AP or transitions between multiple APs, the personal audio device may be configured to establish a new wireless communication connection before breaking a current wireless communication connection.

  • Publication number: 20240105206
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for improved machine learning. Voice data from a first user is received. In response to determining that the voice data includes an utterance of a defined keyword, a user verification score is generated by processing the voice data using a first user verification machine learning (ML) model, and a quality of the voice data is determined. In response to determining that the user verification score and determined quality satisfy one or more defined criteria, a second user verification ML model is updated based on the voice data.

  • Patent number: 11909786
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for processing audio data. For instance, a process can include detecting a first audio data between two or more in-person participants of a plurality of in-person participants of a group communication session. The first audio data can be identified as private based on one or more cues associated with the first audio data. A second audio data can be identified between the two or more in-person participants. The second audio data can be identified as non-private based on one or more additional cues associated with the second audio data, wherein the one or more additional cues associated with the second audio data are different from the one or more cues associated with the first audio data. The second audio data can be output based on identifying the second audio data as non-private.
