  • Patent number: 9225102
Abstract: An interconnection system for portable networking modules including a pair of male connectors on one side and a female connector and an alignment slot on an opposing side. Two or more modules can be connected in a daisy chain series by aligning a male and female connector, rotating the modules around the connectors' central axis, mating the opposing connectors, and twisting the modules into alignment. When connected, one male connector is engaged with the female connector, and the other male connector fits into the alignment slot. Twisting in the opposite direction disconnects the modules. The connectors transmit data and power between connected modules. The male connectors also receive power modules such as military radio battery packs.
