  • Publication number: 20220092516
Abstract: One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive one or more delivery parameters describing characteristics associated with a task type, wherein the one or more delivery parameters include at least one key parameter, receive task information for a specific task of the task type, wherein the task information includes a location, execute a machine learning model specific to the at least one key parameter using the task information to generate a delivery assignment for the specific task, the delivery assignment including an identifier identifying an individual, monitor completion of the specific task by the individual, wherein monitoring completion of the specific task includes monitoring the at least one key parameter, and update the machine learning model based on monitoring the at least one key parameter.

  • Publication number: 20220092521
Abstract: One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive a digital task assignment including a user identifier and an indication of one or more required declarations associated with the task assignment, wherein the digital task assignment is locked by a digital flag, generate and transmit a digital declaration based on the indication to a user device associated with the user identifier, wherein the digital declaration includes one or more conditions, receive a modified digital declaration from the user device, perform semantic extraction on the digital declaration to validate a user response to the one or more conditions, and in response to validating the user response to the one or more conditions, update the digital task assignment by modifying the digital flag to unlock the digital task assignment.

  • Publication number: 20220092519
Abstract: A method including receiving a digital schedule associated with an entity, the digital schedule including one or more shifts, each of the one or more shifts including at least one opening having an assigned individual with a specific role, retrieving context information associated with a location of the entity, executing a machine learning model using the context information to generate a predicted demand associated with the entity during a time period corresponding to the one or more shifts, updating the digital schedule based on the predicted demand, monitoring completion of the at least one shift to measure an actual demand associated with the entity, and updating the machine learning model based on the actual demand.

  • Publication number: 20220092520
Abstract: A method including receiving a digital schedule, the digital schedule including one or more shifts, each of the one or more shifts including at least one opening, execute a machine learning model using the digital schedule to generate demand characteristics associated with the digital schedule, the demand characteristics including (i) a number of drivers and (ii) driver characteristics associated with the number of drivers, parsing a database including a plurality of digital representations of drivers to identify a selection of drivers having the driver characteristics, automatically assigning the selection of drivers to the one or more shifts of the digital schedule according to the demand characteristics, monitoring completion of at least one shift of the one or more shifts to measure a key delivery parameter associated with each delivery, and updating the machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 7914536
Abstract: A device for repairing a bone disorder using a polyaxial screw. The device has a pivoted lever mounted rotatably to an extension of a bone screw and which extends essentially at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the extension to which it is mounted and is in contact with a stop on the other extension associated with the vertebral body to be repositioned. The extension that acts on the polyaxial bone screw comprises a longitudinal sleeve, a rod, preferably threaded, extending from within the sleeve and moveable within the sleeve, and a contact surface disposed on the end of the threaded rod which is configured to transmit a force against the bone screw to prevent polyaxial movement of the polyaxial bone screw for as long as the force is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20050217166
Abstract: A bendable resilient fishing lure, that simulates the movement of live bait when a fisherman tugs on the fishing line, includes a resilient body molded to appear like a small animal such as an earthworm or small fish, the body having a fishing line securing device, at least one aperture in the body spaced apart from the securing device through which the fishing line is threaded, a resistance device slidably mounted on the fishing line between the fisherman and the body. When the fisherman tugs the fishing line, the resistance device applies a force to the body, causing it to bend. When the tugging stops, the resilient body returns to its original shape. The resistance device may be either a weight or a disk. The disk may include a tubular spacer so that the disk is spaced away from the body.

  • Publication number: 20030156429
Abstract: A hair ornament includes multiple light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which are manufactured as a single component so that their combined output can be focused on the end of a bundle of optic fibers. The fibers may be woven in the hair or wig of a wearer of the ornament. For a preferred embodiment of the invention, three LEDs, each of which emits a primary color (generally red, green or blue), are provided. Each LED is coupled to a flasher circuit having both variable frequency and variable duty cycle. At low frequencies (i.e., less than about 18-20 flashes per second), the flashes are seen as discrete colors. However, as the frequencies are increased, only a single color is visible. The color of that single color can be varied over the visible spectrum by varying the duty cycles of the three LEDs. One use of the preferred embodiment is to adjust the projected color to coordinate with clothing of the user.
