A decoding table is accessed and the corresponding entry for the token is determined. The token is executed according to the corresponding entry. This may be done for all tokens in a tokenized Session Initiated Packet. Once the tokens have been executed according to their entries in a decoding table, the decoded tokenized Session Initiated Protocol packet is provided.

A first packet of data transmitted from a billing collector to a billing converter is received. The first packet includes billing data and a transmission time. A second packet of data being transmitted from the billing converter to the billing collector is received. The second packet includes an acknowledgement of the first packet and a transmission time. A first time difference between the transmission time of the first packet and the transmission time of the second packet is determined.
