  • Patent number: 10748439
Abstract: A client device is configured to administer unique, equivalent, computer mediated, task versions of a particular task type automatically generated by a task versioning system. Multiple task versions, each comprising of at one stimulus sequence, are generated by performing geometric, symmetric or temporal transformations on the spatiotemporal relationships between one or more stimuli in a task version. Previous user performance may be captured and analyzed to determine a next task version. Task versioning systems with the ability to automatically generate multiple unique, equivalent task versions allow for accurate measurement of neurological, cognitive, and motor skills, by ensuring that learning effects arising from repeated task administrations are eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20200195440
Abstract: A system and method for identity verification, including: receiving, from a first electronic device, a reference identification item associated with a user; receiving a first source identification item, produced in real time, that is also associated with the user; receiving a first analysis result from a first analysis operation analyzing the first source identification item with respect to the reference identification item; upon receiving the first analysis result, deleting the reference identification item; and authenticating the user based on the first analysis result.

  • Patent number: 10444980
Abstract: A client device is configured with a test administration application for conducting self-administered tests. A user interface of the test administration application includes motion restriction regions configured to prevent select types of body motion during particular segments of self-administered tests, and testing regions configured to receive a touch input performed by a specific digit of the user. For example, a touch input involves touching, holding, or tapping a single digit within the bounds of a testing region in accordance with instructions provided by the test administration application. The test administration module records motion data comprising one or more touch events, each touch event describing a touch input performed by the user. Undesired touch inputs that may obscure or degrade the reliability of biomechanical data are identified.

  • Patent number: 10383553
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method to collect and analyze data produced through biometric and psychometric tasks on interactive computing devices. The collected biometric data can be used to quantify motor skills and to generate statistics that correlate with or predict ability in other functional domains. The biometric data tasks and data collection can be incidental to user interaction with a computing device using a touchpad or other input device—such as users drawing lines to connecting screen elements while using the user interface of an application on a computing device.

  • Patent number: 9703407
Abstract: A client device is configured with a test administration application for conducting self-administered tests. The user interface of the test administration application includes motion restriction regions for restricting certain body parts from moving or certain body motions during the entire or particular segments of self-administered tests. Only target response motions in a test are captured and analyzed. Undesired motions that may interfere with assessment of users' cognitive and/or motor skills are reduced or excluded. When users' hands are anchored to the device, they will have limited ability to invalidate test results, for example by taking notes or hovering hands over regions of interest in spatial recall tasks. Task administration systems provide improvements in the accuracy and reliability of tests of neurological, cognitive, and motor skills, by ensuring that user inputs to such tests are valid inputs, etc.
