Abstract: A method and system for performing statistical analysis using a web browser includes selecting raw data for statistical analysis and specifying statistical operation(s) on the raw data. The web browser may be used to generate first program code corresponding to the statistical operation(s). After sending the first program code to a web server for execution, output data resulting from executing the first program code may be received at the web browser. The web browser may generate and display a graphical representation of the output data. The web browser may also be used to configure the graphical representation and generate second program code executable by a web browser for generating the graphical representation.

Abstract: A web server includes software to support a remotely accessible web portal for installation and repair services in conjunction with a telecommunication service provided to a customer by a provider. The software includes instructions to provide a first I&R user interface, including a plurality of selectable I&R objects in response to a first input from a remote field device, receive a second input from the remote field device indicating a user's selection of one of the I&R objects, generate a request to invoke an I&R application in response to receiving the input, transmit the request to invoke the I&R application to an I&R system, receive I&R data generated by the I&R application from the I&R system, and convey information indicative of the I&R data to the remote field device.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for maintaining a communication system is disclosed. An apparatus that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computer-readable storage medium in a maintenance server of a communication system, comprising computer instructions for monitoring for installed components in interconnected Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) networks of the communication system based at least in part on provisioning records for each of the interconnected DSL networks, filtering telemetry and maintenance data associated with the installed components in the interconnected DSL networks according to criteria comprising actual criteria and predictive criteria, monitoring for a fault in the installed components based at least in part on the telemetry and maintenance data associated with the actual criteria, and predicting a potential fault in the installed components based at least in part on the telemetry and maintenance data associated with the predictive criteria.

Abstract: A method and system for workflow scheduling and forecasting is disclosed. The method may include automatically generating a predicted workforce schedule for a work tour period, such as a period of several weeks or months, and populating the workforce schedule with workforce members based on prioritized work tour preferences received from the workforce members. A current workload assessment may then be applied to the populated workforce schedule based on current assignment availability and predicted workload for later in the current day. The system may include a workload database, A workforce scheduling server, and a workload allocation server. The workload database contains currently available assignments and historical workload levels and a business rule database containing workforce hours requirements. The workforce scheduling server generates a workforce schedule that the workload allocation server uses to distribute existing, and predict future, tasks among the scheduled workforce.
