Abstract: Disclosed is a disposable curtain system, a hook attachment and a quick-release system therefor and method. The disposable curtain system is for use in health care facilities to maintain a clean environment. The disposable curtain system includes: a hook attachment; an extension, operatively attached to the hook attachment; and a quick-release, operatively attached to the extension and adapted to be attached to a curtain. The quick-release includes; an extension attachment; and a curtain attachment, wherein at least one of the curtain attachment and the extension attachment has a neck and a head and the other of the curtain attachment and the extension attachment has at least one of a cradle or receiver for receiving the head.

Abstract: Disclosed is an end cap or connector for a wheel system, the end cap or connector has a cylindrical portion for engagement with one of an extension or a quick release system, the cylindrical portion further including a catch for attachment to the extension; and a cap, extending from said cylindrical portion, said cap having a connector for attaching to a wheel carriage or another extension. Also disclosed is a method which includes the end cap and inserting the end cap into an extension such as a hollow tube or rod; and releasably attaching the end cap to a wheel system.

Abstract: The present invention was founded on the basic object of providing an apparatus for safely and efficiently sifting dust and ash and other relative small particles from larger particles, such as incompletely burned coals. A further object of the invention is to provide a sieve that enables a sifting of particulate matter from incompletely burned coals while inside a combustion chamber of a fireplace, stove, or the like. In an exemplary embodiment the invention includes a sieve with sides and bottom having a plurality of apertures dimensioned so that the sieve sides and bottom fit entirely within the confines of the object to be cleaned, and a handle fixed to the sieve such that the handle does not extend far, such as 1/2? or less, above the top of the sieve.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided relating to a secure bag assembly to secure cash in transit (“CIT”). In some implementations, the secure bag assembly is installed in a lockable, removable cassette that is fitted to a bill validator. The cassette and bill validator can be installed in an enclosure like those found in retail kiosks, self-checkout terminals, retail safes or gaming machines. In such an implementation, bank notes are deposited in the bill validator and once identified and validated, are securely stacked in the bag assembly within the cassette. The bag assembly can be used for capacities of one banknote up to the maximum capacity allowed by the cassette. The bag assembly is secured in place when installed and is sealed automatically upon removal from the cassette.

Abstract: A head mounted display assembly including a frame comprising a base (5) adapted to rest on a top portion of a head of a user, a front frame portion (4) adapted to rest against a front portion of the head of the user, and a rear frame portion (6) adapted to rest against a back portion of the head of the user. The assembly also includes an optical display housing (2). Additionally, the assembly includes an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a distance between the front frame portion (4) and the rear frame portion (6) while maintaining the optical display housing (2) at a constant angle relative to the base (5). Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an offset lacrosse head comprising a shaft, a collar, and a head. The collar defines an opening that receives the shaft. The head has a juncture. The juncture defines a socket that receives the collar, and the socket and the shaft are non-concentric. In a further aspect of this embodiment, the shaft has a shaft axis, the opening of the collar has an opening axis, the socket of the juncture has a socket axis, and at least one of the socket axis, the opening axis, and the shaft axis is offset, when viewed from a side elevation of the lacrosse stick facing an exterior of a sidewall of the head.

Abstract: A lacrosse head having at least one of a flexible stringing member and a recessed scoop is provided. In one embodiment, a slot is formed in a head along a stop member, a sidewall, and/or a scoop to provide the flexible stringing member. In another embodiment, the flexible stringing member is a flexible stringing bar that extends from a stop member to a scoop. In another embodiment, the flexible stringing member is more flexible in one direction than another. Through these embodiments, a flexible stringing member can dampen and dynamically narrow the pocket, enhance ball retention, increase pass/shot accuracy, and satisfy pocket-forming preferences. In another embodiment, a scoop has a recess that curves toward a stop member to increase the amount of surface area that contacts a ball when scooping.
