The vehicle mountable article carrier is a briefcase like device with an upper and lower cover. A plurality of individual lockable compartments are located within the lower cover. A plurality of vehicle attachment device having a bolt and a pivotal cap are used to secure the vehicle mountable article carrier to the trunk of the vehicle.
