The first layer has polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, and polyvinyl pyrrolidone. The phospholipid is derived from AmisolĀ® Clear. The artificial tear film is effective in significantly prolonging the tear break up time in patients with dry eye syndrome.
