Publication number: 20260004153Abstract: A computing device receives: input and output from a programmatic application that refines given resource usage; and feedback data indicating feedback regarding the output from the programmatic application, the feedback data including negative feedback indicating a subset of the output that was changed or indicated as poor output. The computing device builds a prediction model comprising an ensemble of decision trees using the input and the output. Based on the feedback data, the computing device extracts, from the prediction model, new rules, which indicate instances of when the output is further refinable, the new rules covering at least a given portion of the output associated with negative feedback. The computing device adjusts the programmatic application, based on the new rules.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2025Publication date: January 1, 2026Inventors: Hongliu CAO, Jean-Alexis BERRANGER, Jessy CHENAVAS, Nicolas DOMINGUES, Joel SMITH, Shuang LI

Patent number: 11316846Abstract: A device is configured for dynamically obtaining updated hash values for certificate processing of endpoints from a dedicated and single server. The server's certificate is signed by a certificate authority that is the sole and root authority for the certificate processing on the device. When endpoints are connected to the device, the hash values are compared against computed hash values for the endpoints' certificates. Connections are deemed secure for the device when the computed hash values match the hash values provided by the server.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2017Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: NCR CorporationInventors: Isamu Leonard Yamamoto, Joel Smith, Eric K.
