  • Publication number: 20240075304
Abstract: A medical device includes wake circuitry and telemetry circuitry. The wake circuitry is configured to receive a first set of data from a device associated with the medical device, where the first set of data is received at a frequency band. The wake circuitry is configured to output a set of pulses based on the first set of data. The wake circuitry is configured to detect a data pattern using the set of pulses. The wake circuitry is configured to output an activation signal in response to a determination that the data pattern satisfies a data pattern requirement. The telemetry circuitry is configured to output a second set of data in response to receiving the activation signal. The second set of data is transmitted at the frequency band. The telemetry circuitry is configured to establish a communication session with the device using the second set of data.

  • Patent number: 10895050
Abstract: A substantially pyramid-shaped wave diverter (1) having circular-shaped ports (6). A system of wave diverters (14) may be placed in an ocean (16) side-by-side off a shoreline (17) and under the surface of water. The system of multiple wave diverters each have circular ports (6) located on each side, some of which may vary in size. The system of wave diverters divert the flow of sand toward the beach (18) and prevents further erosion from the beach.

  • Patent number: 8840115
Abstract: A seal system for a reciprocating cylinder includes a buffer seal, a rod seal, and a wiper seal. The buffer seal includes a dynamic seal lip and a static lip extending from a hinge portion. The hinge portion of the static lip allows fluid to escape past the outer diameter of the seal when the rod is retracted thereby releasing any pressure build-up between the rod seal and buffer seal. The axial face portion of the dynamic seal lip includes axially extending notches therein. The notches prevent the buffer seal from sticking to the axial wall of the groove and provide a consistent path for the fluid to energize the annular groove between the static and dynamic lips during the extension phase which is necessary for the function of the seal. The back-up ring is an integrated part of the buffer seal, used to provide superior extrusion resistance.

  • Patent number: 8371665
Abstract: An integrated noise attenuator and kick panel are provided for attenuating noise emanating from an appliance such as a dishwasher, washer, dryer, or refrigerator. The kick panel includes an elongated panel member having side flaps which are biased laterally against cabinets or other structures disposed on each side of the appliance. The elongated panel member is also provided with a textured noise attenuating surface on the back thereof which, along with the side flaps, attenuates and absorbs the sound and vibration emanating from the appliance.

  • Patent number: 5305532
Abstract: A gauge member arranged to include first and second planar side walls arranged in a parallel coextensive relationship having a first end wall spaced from a second end wall having a first step therebetween, a second step is positioned at an uppermost end of the second end wall parallel to the first step. The first step and second step are spaced apart a predetermined spacing, with a third end wall and a fourth end wall spaced from and parallel relative to one another at an opposed end of the body structure, the third and fourth steps are spaced apart a further spacing greater than the predetermined spacing, the first and second steps are arranged to position and engage overlapping siding plates, the third and fourth steps are also arranged to engage overlapping siding steps at a greater spacing relative to one another.
