  • Publication number: 20240080594
Abstract: A speaker can have a main body with a generally spheroidal shape, which can be supported standing on its end. The speaker can include a subwoofer that faces forward. A plurality of mid-range drivers can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and radially outward. A plurality of tweeters can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and generally outward. The outer housing portion of the speaker can be covered with a fabric material. A user interface ring 162 can be touch sensitive to receive input, and can have a plurality of lights that can be illuminated separately to convey information to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230205929
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for securing access to confidential data using a blockchain ledger. An update to access permissions can be received from a first entity on behalf of a second entity, the update can change access permissions to a confidential data store. A smart contract that validates the update can be called. Upon consensus from a blockchain community, the update to the access permissions for the second entity can be executed. The blockchain community can be a plurality of different organizations that share access to the confidential data store, and the update can be appended to a blockchain ledger that stores access permissions for the blockchain community.

  • Patent number: 7954274
Abstract: A resilient fishing lure, which simulates the movement of live bait when a fisherman tugs on the fishing line, includes a molded, resilient worm/amphibian larvae-like body. The body is unitary, having a head equipped with a longitudinal aperture, an attached tail equipped with at least two apertures, and at least one hook secured to the body. A fishing line is routed, first through the longitudinal aperture in the head, then in an ā€œSā€ pattern through the remaining apertures, and secured to the body through the aperture farthest from the head. Resiliently-hinged jaw flaps on an anterior portion of the head open to positions of maximum hydrodynamic drag when the lure is pulled forward through the water, thereby transferring a portion of the pulling force to the tail so that is transformed from an elongate configuration to a serpentine configuration.

  • Patent number: 4858098
Abstract: To obtain a ripple-free direct-current focusing voltage in a split-diode technology high-voltage transformer, the tap is made not at the middle point of the second section of the secondary winding but at a point determined by the ratio of the stray capacitances of the two half-windings of this section, and it is directly linked to a high-value resistor.
