  • Patent number: 10141873
Abstract: The present invention concerns an electronic device comprising a calculation unit capable of generating a signal representative of a physical magnitude, for a motor driving a display device, said motor comprising a rotor in a magnetic circuit, two terminals, one positive and one negative, via which the calculation unit controls the motor, the electronic device further comprising at least one shock detector circuit connected between the calculation unit and a motor terminal for the detection of an external shock applied to the motor, said motor having a first position of stable equilibrium placed at a reference angular position and a second position of stable equilibrium placed at 180° from the first stable angular position, for each direction of rotation, a maximum angular position from which it is no longer possible to return the motor rotor into a prior angular position, the calculation unit using an algorithm which, following a shock, can detect the direction of rotation of the rotor by analyzing an induc

  • Patent number: 9188960
Abstract: A mechanism drives the hands of an electromechanical watch. It includes an electric motor, a set of gear wheels connected to the electric motor to move the hands forward or backward on each actuation of the electric motor, and a locking device. The locking device includes a piezoelectric actuator for locking, in a rest mode, directly or via a bolt, one wheel of the set between each actuation of the electric motor. The piezoelectric actuator releases the wheel of the set of gear wheels, when it is actuated by an electrical signal at the moment of each actuation of the electric motor to move the hands forward or backward.

  • Publication number: 20140146645
Abstract: The mechanism (1) drives the hands (8, 9) of an electromechanical watch. It includes an electric motor (2), a set of gear wheels (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) connected to the electric motor to move the hands forward or backward on each actuation of the electric motor, and a locking device (20). The locking device (20) includes a piezoelectric actuator (21) for locking, in a rest mode, directly or via a bolt (22), one wheel of the set between each actuation of the electric motor. The piezoelectric actuator (21) releases the wheel of the set of gear wheels (3, 4, 5, 6, 7), when it is actuated by an electrical signal at the moment of each actuation of the electric motor (2) to move the hands forward or backward.

  • Patent number: 8179012
Abstract: The electromechanical transducer (2) includes a rotor (4) and two coil (6, 8), the rotor being formed of first, second and third parts (10, 11, 12) made of magnetic material with respectively first, second and third superposed central zones (14, 15, 16), a first, axially polarized, bipolar magnet (18) being arranged between the first and second central zones and a second bipolar magnet (20) axially polarized in an opposite direction to that of the first magnet being arranged between the second and third central zones.
