Abstract: In a method for protecting a networked military system from malicious users, transactions between the users of the networked military system are stored in a distributed database. Using a block chain method makes it possible to securely store important information in the network and to protect it from manipulation by intruders.

Abstract: It is proposed that, on the assumption that the surrounding area forms a known topography, a representation is produced from a form of the topography, the camera position relative to the topography and the image in the form of a virtual representation of the view from an observation point which is at a distance from the camera position. This makes it possible to select an advantageous perspective of objects which are imaged in the image, thus making it possible for an operator to easily identify the position of the objects relative to the camera.
