  • Publication number: 20240034369
Abstract: A catching device for a shunting coupling has a catching body with an end stop, a right-hand side lateral stop, and a left-hand side lateral stop that together form a holding body with an inner region delimited on three sides and an open side. The open side can be closed by a lock and the open side is dimensioned such that a specified shunting coupling can be moved into the inner region through the open side. The catching device has at least one elastic and/or elastically mounted stop element on one of the stops. There is also described a rail vehicle with such a catching device and also a method for locking a shunting coupling.

  • Publication number: 20240034368
Abstract: A mounting interface for attaching supporting components to a buffer of a rail vehicle. The interface has a mounting body with a component fastening region and an attachment region that is different therefrom. The component fastening region is equipped with fastening elements and/or holes for attaching the components. The attachment region is formed in such a way that it can be fastened to at least two fastening points at the rear side of a buffer flange using buffer screws. There is also described a buffer system and a rail vehicle with such a mounting interface.

  • Patent number: 10913468
Abstract: A rail vehicle includes a fuel tank having a tank wall delimiting a tank interior space for storing fuel. At least portions of a first support are connected to the tank wall. A longitudinal support includes first and second longitudinal support portions being offset in longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The fuel tank is disposed in longitudinal direction between the first and second longitudinal support portions. The first support is coupled to the first and second longitudinal support portions. At least portions of the first support are disposed in the tank interior space in the longitudinal direction. The first support running in the longitudinal direction is disposed between the first and second longitudinal support portions. The first support is configured for fully transmitting a force acting between the first and second longitudinal support portions in longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9963845
Abstract: A rail vehicle has a vehicle body supported in a sprung fashion on bogies. A snow plow has two blade plates that run to a point and a plow blade arranged vertically adjustably behind the blade plates. A projecting portion of the plow blade that projects downwards beyond a lower edge of the blade plates is adjustable. The blade plates rest with their lower edge on a base plate which forms a cutting edge that protrudes from the lower edge in the direction of travel. The snow plow is attached to an under frame of the vehicle body such that the base plate maintains a safety distance from the travel rails. The safety distance is predefined by a maximum spring compression of the vehicle body. The protruding portion of the plow blade is set as a function of the safety distance and of a wear of the wheels of the bogies.
