  • Publication number: 20220131447
Abstract: An electrical machine, in particular an electronically commutated machine, includes a housing and a controller accommodated in the housing. The controller is configured to drive the machine to generate a magnetic rotating field. The housing has a housing cup, which surrounds a hollow space, and a housing cover. The machine has an end plate accommodated in the housing cup. The end plate is thermally conductively connected to the housing cup. The machine also has a cooling panel thermally conductively connected to the housing cup and to at least one component, or to a plurality of components, of the control unit. The machine has an inverter comprising semiconductor switches. The semiconductor switches are thermally conductively connected to the end plate. The end plate and the cooling panel enclose a portion of the hollow space.

  • Publication number: 20210144872
Abstract: The invention relates to a housing for an electrical device, in particular an electrical machine. The housing encloses a cavity. The housing has a housing cup and a housing part. The housing part, which is formed, for example, by a closing element, in particular a housing cover, is designed to be connected to the housing cup, in particular separably or inseparably, or to close the housing cup. According to the invention, the housing cup, in particular a housing wall of the housing cup, has an opening. The housing cup is made of metal, in particular steel or aluminum, at least in the region of a housing cup edge extending peripherally around the opening. The housing part is preferably made of plastic. The housing preferably has an adapter, which is in particular tubular, for connecting the housing cup to the housing part. The adapter is injection-molded or fused onto a longitudinal section of the housing cup edge.

  • Patent number: 9356379
Abstract: A housing for an electrical machine includes a cover with an electrical plug connection. The plug connection includes at least one electrically conductive contact or a plurality of electrically conductive contacts configured to electrically connect the housing to a plug. The contact is routed through an aperture in the cover and forms an electrical plug contact via an end section that projects out of the cover. The plug connection has a securing element that extends in a flat manner. A lateral dimension of the aperture in the cover is formed such that the contact is routed through the aperture via the end section and engages behind a projection in an interlocking manner by virtue of moving transverse to the longitudinal extent in the aperture. The securing element has at least one aperture that is configured to fix the contact in the aperture transverse to a longitudinal extent of the contact.

  • Patent number: 7755248
Abstract: Proposed is an integrated drive element (110) which is particularly suitable for use in an automatic shift transmission of a motor vehicle. The integrated drive element (110) has at least one electric motor (112), with preferably precisely two electric motors (112) being provided which can be used for example for a dual-clutch transmission. Also provided is at least one electronic engine control unit (114) which is designed for controlling the functionality of the at least one electric motor (112). Said electronic engine control unit (114) in turn has a housing (116). The at least one electric motor (112) spatially directly adjoins the housing (116) and/or is at least partially integrated into the at least one housing (116).
