  • Patent number: 11667526
Abstract: Proposed are a process and a plant for producing a synthesis gas product stream having an adjustable H2/CO ratio and a pure hydrogen stream, wherein it is provided according to the invention that a substream of a deacidified synthesis gas stream is supplied to a membrane separation plant fitted with a hydrogen-selective membrane and the remaining substream is supplied to a pressure swing adsorption plant, wherein the latter affords a pure hydrogen stream and a fuel gas stream. The hydrogen-enriched permeate stream obtained from the membrane separation is likewise supplied to the pressure swing adsorption plant, thus enhancing the yield of pure hydrogen. The hydrogen-depleted retentate stream obtained from the membrane separation is discharged as a synthesis gas product stream and if of a suitable composition may be utilized as oxo gas.

  • Patent number: 11553027
Abstract: A method for improving performance of a streaming media session between a plurality of communicating entities. Observation reports are collected from a plurality of monitoring entities. Each observation report includes information pertaining to events observed and recorded at a corresponding monitoring entity. A size of at least one window to be used for analyzing the observation reports is determined. The observation reports are analyzed using the at least one window of the determined size, to determine a correlation between the events across the observation reports. A problem encountered during the streaming media session is identified, based upon the correlation between the events. A notification is sent to at least one of the monitoring entities, based upon the problem. The notification is sent during the streaming media session.

  • Patent number: 11542158
Abstract: A burner for producing synthesis gas by partial oxidation of liquid or gaseous, carbon-containing fuels in the presence of an oxygen-containing oxidant and a moderator, which burner can be operated uncooled, i.e. without a fluid coolant being passed through the burner, is proposed. Steam or carbon dioxide or else mixtures of these materials are used as moderator. This is achieved by the feed channels being configured so that mixing of the fuel, the moderator and the oxidant occurs only outside the burner.

  • Patent number: 8793348
Abstract: A process for installing a software application on a platform, the platform comprises several servers including one or more application servers and a control server on which a platform configuration database is installed. The process comprises the following steps after a predefined software application is selected by an user: reading out configuration data and solution data from the platform configuration database wherein the registration data describes the platform configuration and the solution data describes a solution of the selected software application which is registered on the platform, determining the virtual server(s) which is needed to run the selected software application, creating the determined virtual server(s) on the platform, installing an instance of the selected software application in the created virtual server(s), connecting the instance to an interface of the platform to provide an access for listeners to the instance.

  • Patent number: 8644757
Abstract: Methods and systems for coordinating user terminals are disclosed. A user terminal may receive a user terminal identifier and a sensor identifier from a user terminal, determine a group topology based on the user terminal identifier and the sensor identifier to identify a spatial relationship relative to the user terminal, receive a media signal, and identify a subsection of the media signal. The user terminal also may generate subsection information to assign a subsection of the media signal to the user terminal corresponding to the spatial relationship, and may communicate the subsection information to the user terminal.
