  • Patent number: 10366558
Abstract: A cash box (18) is provided along with a device (12) for handling notes of value, in which such a cash box (18) is receivable. The cash box (18) has a receiving area (30) for receiving a value note stack and a housing (32) with at least one mechanical coding unit (50) for optional assignment of the cash box (18) to first or second receiving compartments (16) of the device (12). The coding unit (50) has a coding element (60) that is adjustable between first and second positions. The coding element (60) is designed so that the cash box (18) is feedable only to the first receiving compartment (16) when the coding element (60) is in the first position, and only to the second receiving compartment (16) when the coding element (60) is in the second position.

  • Patent number: 9725259
Abstract: A method for feeding notes of value (20) to a device for handling notes of value includes manually filing a cash cassette (10) with the notes of value (20), and rotating the cash cassette (10) so that the side that was arranged at the bottom during the filling of the cash cassette (10), is arranged at the top. The cash cassette (10) then is inserted into the device for handling notes of value in this rotated orientation.

  • Patent number: 9495821
Abstract: A device (10) for handling notes of value has a box receiving area (14) for receiving cash boxes (18) and a first transport unit (22) for transporting of notes of value between the cash boxes (18) and a head module (12). A first switch (50) is provided at a head module side-end of the first transport unit (22). Further, the device (10) has a stacking unit (26), an input and/or output compartment (28) and a reject and retract container (30). In addition, a second transport unit (24) for transporting notes of value between the stacking unit (26), the input and/or output compartment (28) and the reject and retract container (30) is provided. In a first switch position, the first switch (50) guides a note of value removed from the box receiving area (14) to the stacking unit (26) and in a second switch position to the second transport unit (24).

  • Patent number: 9371203
Abstract: The invention relates to a cash cassette (10) having a receiving compartment (20) for receiving a value note stack (60) and a press-on unit (24) for exerting a counterforce directed opposite to the direction of deposit (P1) on the value note stack (60) received in the receiving compartment (20). A bottom unit (22) has at least a first snap-in element (42) and the press-on unit (24) has a second snap-in element (40) via which a snap-fit connection can be established. The second snap-in element (40) is elastically formed such that the press-on unit (24) is movable further in the direction of deposit (P1) by a predetermined distance even when the snap-fit connection is established.
