  • Publication number: 20180031840
Abstract: A method for producing an optical element includes a) providing a first shell which is transparent in the predetermined wavelength range, b) applying a coating which is optically effective for the predetermined wavelength range onto the structured portion, c) providing a second shell which is transparent in the predetermined wavelength range, which shell has an integral embodiment and a smooth lower side which has a complementary form to the form of the upper side, d) applying an adhesive layer which is transparent in the predetermined wavelength range onto the upper side of the first shell and/or the lower side of the second shell, and e) connecting the upper side of the first shell with the lower side of the second shell by means of the adhesive layer such that a two-shell optical element is produced, in which the optically effective structure is buried.

  • Patent number: 9778484
Abstract: An optical element has a substrate body made from transparent plastic and a coating having multiple layers. The coating includes a hard lacquer layer adjoining the substrate. The coating has a diffusivity ensuring the absorption of water molecules passing through the coating in the substrate and the release of water molecules from the substrate through the coating from an air atmosphere on that side of the coating facing away from the substrate with a flow density which, proceeding from the equilibrium state of the quantity of water molecules absorbed in the substrate in an air atmosphere at 23° C. and 50% relative humidity, brings the setting of the equilibrium state of the quantity of water molecules absorbed in the substrate in an air atmosphere at 40° C. and 95% relative humidity within an interval not more than 10 h longer than for setting this equilibrium under corresponding conditions with an identical uncoated substrate.

  • Publication number: 20170227775
Abstract: A method for producing an optical element includes providing a first partial body which is transparent for the predetermined wavelength range and including on its upper side a structured section, applying a coating which is optically effective for the predetermined wavelength range onto the structured section in order to form the optically effective structure, and applying a cover layer which is transparent for the predetermined wavelength range onto the upper side of the first partial body by means of casting of thermoplastic material and/or duroplastic material.

  • Publication number: 20170192238
Abstract: A spectacle lens for a display device can be fitted on the head of a user and generate an image. The spectacle lens can be constructed with several shells including an outer shell and an inner shell which is joined to the outer shell, wherein a curved channel shell, which includes a curved first reflecting surface and a curved second reflecting surface, is arranged between the outer and inner shell. The light guiding channel includes at least one section of the channel shell and the two reflecting surfaces on which the light bundles are reflected for guiding from the coupling-in section to the coupling-out section.

  • Publication number: 20160318147
Abstract: A carrier device (10) is for handling a lens (12) which is received therein and which has a lateral edge (21), in particular for handling an eyeglass lens (12) in a machining or finishing process. The carrier device (10) comprises a main body (14) and has a connecting member (24) for releasably connecting the main body (14) to the received lens (12). The connecting member (24) forms, with the main body (14), a protective cover (15) surrounding the lateral edge (21) of the received lens (12) and a surface (30) of the received lens (12) directed toward the main body (14). The connecting member (24) is releasably connected to the main body (14).
