  • Publication number: 20250180390
Abstract: A filling level measurement arrangement (1) for measuring the filling level in a reservoir. The arrangement (1) is arrangeable above a surface (2) of a substance present in the reservoir and has a sensor housing (4) with a base plate (6), which defines an interior space (10). A sensor arrangement with an evaluation electronic system (12) and a sensor element (8) is in the interior space (10). The sensor element (8) is in the base plate (6) and sends a measurement signal towards the surface (2) and receives a reflection signal reflected by the surface (2) in response to the measurement signal. The sensor element (8) is set back in the base plate (6) with respect to the underside (14) of the base plate (6), which is facing the surface (2) of the substance, in the direction of the interior space (10) of the sensor housing (4).

  • Publication number: 20250180391
Abstract: A fill level measuring system (1) for measuring the fill level in a reservoir. The system (1) includes a sensor element (8) arranged relative to a surface (2) of a substance in the reservoir. The sensor element (8) transmits a measuring signal in the direction of the surface (2) and receives a reflection signal reflected from the surface (2) in response to the measuring signal. A processing unit (14), based on the time difference between the transmitting of the measuring signal and the receiving of the reflection signal, carries out a travel time measurement and processes measurement values of the travel time measurement, in order to determine a fill level of the reservoir. The processing unit (14) detects disturbances on the surface (2) and takes the disturbances into account when determining the fill level.

  • Publication number: 20130094792
Abstract: A rolling-element bearing assembly includes a device for supplying a fluid into a rolling chamber of a rolling-element bearing. The device includes a fluid supply ring disposed in the axial direction lateral to the rolling-element bearing, and at least one fluid conduit for conveying the fluid from the fluid supply ring into the rolling chamber. One end of the conduit protrudes into the rolling chamber so as to be disposed axially between a rotation-induced air cushion and the rolling elements and/or a raceway surface of the rolling element bearing.

  • Patent number: 4940341
Abstract: A shaft (3) having a central channel (8) supplies shaft bearings (5, 6, 7) with oil. The central channel leads to an oil exit opening (9) situated in the region of a shaft bearing (2). In order to be able to supply the shaft bearing (2) with oil in metered fashion, a covering (14) is provided on the shaft bearing (5, 6, 7), with the covering (14) comprising a cylindrical section (11) that surrounds the shaft (3) in non-contacting fashion and covers the annular gap between the stationary bearing ring (7) and the rotating bearing ring (5). The cylindrical section (11) has an increased height (h) over a part of its circumference, and the oil exit opening is situated between the lower part (12') and the upper part (12") of the inwardly directed edge of the covering.
