Abstract: An extrusion apparatus to sheathe wires, semi-finished products for cables, or stranded wires. The extrusion apparatus includes an extrusion head and a motorized adjustment device. The extrusion head includes a molding die and a semi-finished product guide having an aperture. The semi-finished product guide and the molding die are arranged with respect to each other so that a molding compound can be formed into an extruded molded product through the aperture of the semi-finished product guide via the molding die. The motorized adjustment device is moved by an actuating signal. The motorized adjustment device is assigned to the semi-finished produce guide and/or to the molding die so that the semi-finished product guide and the molding die can be aligned with respect to each other by moving the motorized adjustment device via applying the actuating signal.
