  • Patent number: 11248894
Abstract: A holder for shaped charges is shown and described. The charge holder facilitates a high shot density for use with a perforating gun. The shaped charges are arranged to direct explosive force axially outward from a perforating gun. The plurality of radially spaced charges are designed to result in an annular ring of blast effect in any metal tubing associated with the oil/gas extraction operation as well as any concrete conduits in which the tubing is disposed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 6, 2018
Date of Patent: February 15, 2022
    Assignee: DynaEnergetics Europe GmbH
    Inventor: Joern Loehken

  • Patent number: 8026723
Abstract: A method for determining a component of electric field response of the Earth's subsurface to a time-varying electromagnetic field induced in the Earth's subsurface is provided. The method includes measuring electric field response along a nonlinear pattern on at least one of the Earth's surface and the bottom of a body of water. The method includes measuring magnetic field response in three directions along the nonlinear pattern on at least one of the Earth's surface and the bottom of the body of water. The method further includes determining an electric field response in a direction normal to the measured electric field response using the electric field response and magnetic field response measurements.

Date of Patent: September 27, 2011
    Assignee: KJT Enterprises, Inc.
Inventors: Joern Loehken, Kurt M. Strack, Stefan L. Helwig, Tilman Hanstein
