Abstract: A computer-implemented method for handling logs includes the steps of: accessing a log definition by an application, wherein the log definition describes a log message format including a first parameter and a second parameter, and assigns parameter identifications P1, P2 for the first parameter and the second parameter, respectively; the application generating a log message in the log message format, wherein the first log contains a combination of the parameter identification P1 and a value of the first parameter and a combination of the parameter identification P2 and a value of the second parameter; a log disseminating program, using the parameter identification P1, sending the value of the first parameter to a first recipient associated beforehand with the parameter identification P1; and the log disseminating program, using the parameter identification P2, sending the value of the second parameter to a second recipient associated beforehand with the parameter identification P2.

Abstract: An approach is provided for communicating a media resource. The approach includes generating a widget information in response to a request by a user, associating the widget information with at least a portion of a media resource; encoding at least a portion of the media resource for a real-time exchange of communications, and transmitting at least a portion of the media resource and the widget information from one information handling system to another.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for recording a crash in an appliance is provided. The method includes the following steps: running a core process to perform a transaction, which will make the core process undergo at least one state sequentially, wherein each state includes at least one call stack; executing a supervisor process to generate a state record, to sequentially record all undergone states of the core process in the transaction; in response to a crash of the core process in the transaction, generating a fault record to record all call stacks in a latest state of the core process; generating a crash report according to the state record and the fault record.

The layer abstract syntax tree is compared with a main program abstract syntax tree and a layer file is generated including the differences between the layer abstract syntax tree and the main program abstract syntax tree.
