  • Patent number: 11690460
Abstract: An air purifying bed tent is disclosed, having a tent made from a semipermeable material suspended over a raised platform, thereby creating an enclosure for a user to be inside. An air purifying device is connected to the top of the tent, letting purified air into the enclosure and creating a local clean air zone for users. The positive pressure difference building up in the enclosure from the constantly added clean air forces clean air out through a plurality of openings, primarily through creases in the semipermeable material around the raised platform. Should the skirting be completely sealed, the semipermeable material will let out the pure air to a higher degree, ensuring a stable and easy touse operation.

  • Publication number: 20230120319
Abstract: A method for sterilising an internal surface of an air purifier or a filter media in an air purifier according to any preceding claim by: (A) subjecting said internal surface or filter media to an air flow; (B) subjecting said internal surface or filter media to an ion cloud; and where steps (A) and (B) are in any order.

  • Publication number: 20230081490
Abstract: A portable air purifier comprising a removable filter, an air flow generator, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a processor for processing input from the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor, and means for activating said air flow generator from a stand-by configuration based on input from both said temperature and humidity sensors and a method for activating an air flow generator in a portable air purifier in stand-by mode, by obtaining information as to ambient temperature from a temperature sensor, obtaining information as to ambient humidity from a humidity sensor, determining likelihood of microbial growth on a removable filter in the purifier and, where conditions are such that microbial growth is of a defined quantum, activating the air flow generator.

  • Publication number: 20230078774
Abstract: An air purifier comprising a removable particulate or gas filter, an air flow generator, a means for controlling said air flow generator, a first air flow setting with an air filtration air flow speed and a second air flow setting which correlates with sterilisation of an internal surface of the air purifier and/or removable particulate or gas filter. A method for sterilising an internal surface of an air purifier according to any preceding claim by generating an air flow correlating with said second air flow setting. A method for sterilising an internal surface of an air purifier according to any preceding claim by generating an air flow correlating with said second air flow setting. A method for sterilising a removable filter in an air purifier according to any preceding claim by generating an air flow correlating with said second air flow setting. A method for preventing microbial growth on an internal surface of or a removable filter rom an air purifier by activating the air flow generator.

  • Patent number: 11578885
Abstract: An air treatment device includes a casing with an air inlet and an air outlet. Air flows through the casing and an air treatment section in the casing. The air treatment section includes a fan for generating a flow of air from the air inlet to the air outlet, a filtering means arranged within the flow of air, a first pressure sensor to measure a first pressure in the flow of air, a second pressure sensor to measure a second pressure in a room or cabin surrounding the air treatment device, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to adapt a speed of the fan based on the measured first pressure and the measured second pressure to control a flow of air through the air treatment device.
