    Abstract: A sealed, self-aligning bearing includes an inner bearing ring with race tracks for rolling bodies, and an outer bearing ring with a race track for the rolling bodies, positioned radially outside the inner bearing ring. At least at one side of the bearing, a bearing seal is arranged axially outside the race tracks and bridges the space between the inner and outer bearing rings. The bearing seal has an outer annular rim fitted in an annular groove in the inner surface of the outer bearing ring and an inner annular rim arranged to slidingly contact the outer surface of the inner bearing ring. The outer rim and the inner rim of the bearing seal are interconnected by an intermediate member formed as a bellows-like thin membrane able to alternatively be stretched and compressed for permitting the bearing rings of the self-aligning bearing to make displacements and/or angular misalignments.

    Abstract: A method and a device for integrated cable signal adjustment is employed when mounting a bearing on a shaft, whereby strain is measured at the bearing ring while it is driven along the shaft, and the instantaneous clearance reduction in the bearing is calculated based on the measured strain, with the clearance reduction being used to determine the amount the bearing should be driven along the shaft. A systematic measurement error in the form of a too high measurement result appearing when the strain measurement takes place on the side face of the bearing ring is compensated for using a compensating device connected in a cable extending between a sensor fitted to the point of measurement and an indicator displaying the measurement result. The compensating device lowers the measurement signal before reaching the indicator, with a factor corresponding to the measurement error.

    Abstract: A mobile radio terminal includes a display for outputting at least one menu. The menu includes at least one branch for processing telephone calls. Each of the branches includes at least one option for choosing a corresponding action to be performed by the radio terminal, the corresponding actions including causing a successive branch to be displayed and performing a terminal function. The mobile terminal includes a selection mechanism for designating one of the options. A first key is included for confirming selection of the option designated by the selection means, so as to move forward through the menu to a succeeding branch and perform the corresponding action chosen by the confirmed option, and for originating and answering telephone calls. A second key is included for rejecting selection of the option designated by the selection mechanism, so as to move backward through the menu to a preceding branch, and for terminating telephone calls.

    Abstract: A device for making holes in the ground, such as for a golf course, has a tubular cutter having an open first end for insertion into the ground, and an opposite second end from which a guide extends. A percussion weight is guided for movement along the guide and exerts a hammering force on the second end of the cutter. A tubular part is connected to the end of the percussion weight that lies distal from the tubular cutter. The tubular part guides the percussion weight axially along the guide. A handle for maneuvering of the percussion weight is attached to the top of the tubular part. The cutter and associated guide on the one hand, and the percussion weight with associated tubular part carrying the handle on the other hand, can be locked together releasably against axial movement, are non-rotatable, and are also releasably locked against rotation movement, so that the cutter can be easily removed from the ground once the hole is cut.

    Abstract: A cellular radio communications system maintains a prioritized routing list of several telephone numbers associated with a predetermined subscriber for efficiently establishing a communications link between a calling party and the subscriber. The telephone numbers of the several telephones associated with the subscriber are initially assigned relative priorities such that the telephones are sequentially alerted according to the prioritized routing lists of telephone numbers when a telephone call is placed to the subscriber. The prioritized routing list is subsequently reordered such that the telephone number from which the telephone from which the subscriber responded to the prior alert is assigned the highest priority will be initially alerted in response to the next telephone call placed to the subscriber.

The cellular radio communications system may also include a feature node for providing predetermined functions to the cellular terminals associated with the cellular radio network. The open communications link maintaining means typically includes a timer and related controller for initiating and monitoring the predetermined time period.

    Abstract: A cellular telephone includes a speaker, a microphone and voice channel establishing components for opening a voice channel between the cellular telephone and a source telephone requesting communications with the cellular telephone without opening the speaker and microphone. Thus, voice communications between the cellular telephone and the source telephone are prevented until a predetermined signal from the user of the cellular telephone is received. The cellular telephone also include delayed speaker and microphone connecting components for receiving and processing data from the source telephone without opening the speaker and the microphone. The data may include the identity of the source telephone or a message which may be displayed for the user of the cellular telephone. Based upon the identity of the source telephone, the user of the cellular telephone may selectively ignore or respond to the request for communications, or may route the request to an automated answering device or another telephone.
