  • Publication number: 20070240782
Abstract: The invention is a mixing or dosing arrangement (10) for filling a container, conduit or vessel (12), which is used for receiving flowable materials therein from a flowable material combining manifold (58) and to transfer flowable materials therefrom to a suitable battery. The mixing or dosing arrangement (10) has a battery replenishment water source or reservoir (26), a battery condition evaluating composition container (28), and a battery life extending composition container (30) which are all connectable to a flowable material combining manifold (58), with valves used to control the flows for properly dosing the above described fluids as a flowable mixture into the container, vessel or conduit (12), which is used for dosing a battery. The battery condition evaluating composition may be a colorized composition.

  • Publication number: 20070074763
Abstract: A battery watering system for delivering fluid to a battery has a connection to a fluid source, which is to be delivered to a plurality of battery filling valve assemblies mounted to a plurality of battery filling openings on a battery. Tubing sections are used to interconnect the fluid source to the battery filling valve assemblies. Each battery filling valve assembly has a connector for receiving at least one tube end in at least one tubing receiving aperture having an inner diameter sized to receive the tubing end therein, at least one inner diameter reducing projection disposed within the aperture for applying a restraining force on the tube end disposed therein to limit withdrawal therefrom. Using the inventive connectors, rapid assembly with sure connection of the tubing sections is assured and inadvertent disconnection substantially avoided.

  • Publication number: 20060105230
Abstract: The invention is an automated single point battery watering system which has a battery watering control system comprising a fluid reservoir, a fluid delivery header for delivering fluid from the reservoir to the cells of at least one battery, a flow controller in communication with the fluid delivery header for controlling the flow of fluid from the reservoir through the header, and a monitoring system for monitoring the battery charge state and for timing the activation of the flow controller for adjusting the flow relative to the state of charge so that over watering does not occur. Also included is a fluid restrictor associated with the fluid delivery system to limit gas flow into the fluid delivery header.

  • Publication number: 20050027229
Abstract: An adhesive dispensing arrangement (10) comprises an adhesive patch (12), a sachet (14), a sachet sealing strip (16), a pair of parallel gauze flaps (18A and 18B), and a peelable backing strip (20). The sachet houses a medicament such as an antiseptic or anti-microbial ointment (30), and the exposable surface (32) of the sachet is formed with a series of regularly spaced apertures (34) through which the ointment (30) may be dispensed. The peeling backing strip (20) and sachet sealing strip (16) are simultaneously peeled away, thereby exposing the apertures (34), with a central portion of the sealing strip being pulled through the gap between the gauze flaps (18A and 18B). The adhesive patch (12) is then applied around the affected area, with the ointment (30) and the sachet being dispensed via the apertures onto the gauze flaps and into treating contact with the wound.
