  • Publication number: 20240175543
Abstract: An adjustable rotor support with a carrier beam configured to receive a center shaft of a rotor, at least one support brace connected to the carrier beam, and an adjustment arrangement operably connected to the support brace(s). The adjustment arrangement is configured to generate movement of at least one of the support brace(s), movement of the support brace(s) generating movement of the carrier beam along an adjustment axis (A1) perpendicular to a center axis (A2) of the center shaft. The adjustment arrangement is configured to lock the support brace(s) in a position reached through the movement such that the position is maintained by the adjustment arrangement during operation of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20220099378
Abstract: A web for a rotary heat exchanger is configured for transfer of thermal energy and/or moisture to and/or from a fluid. The web includes first profiled sections and second profiled sections configured to protrude in opposite directions, each a fluid passage. The first and second profiled sections form a plurality of fluid flow channels, each fluid flow channel having a main fluid flow axis and being configured to allow fluid flow at least partially along the main fluid flow axis. Each fluid flow channel is formed by alternating at least one first profiled section and at least one second profiled section along the main fluid flow axis and by aligning the fluid passages of the alternatingly arranged first profiled section(s) and second profiled section(s). Each fluid flow channel has at least one lateral opening allowing fluid flow to at least partially travel between adjacent fluid flow channels.

  • Publication number: 20130284412
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger comprising a set of heat exchanger plates arranged between a frame plate and a pressure plate. A guide bar guides the set of heat exchanger plates and the pressure plate relatively the frame plate, a tightening member is arranged on the guide bar and a plate engager is arranged intermediate the tightening member and the pressure plate for allowing the tightening member to press the pressure plate in a direction towards the frame plate. The plate engager is releasable and the tightening member is configured to protect the guide bar, such that the pressure plate may move in a direction from the frame plate and past the tightening member when the plate engager is released. A related method is also described.

  • Publication number: 20110297350
Abstract: The invention relates to a plate heat exchanger (1) including a first and second end plate (2, 3), and a core of heat exchanger plates (4) arranged between the first and second end plate (2, 3), whereby a plurality of threaded tightening bolts (5a, 5b, 5c) extend between the first and second end plate (2, 3) and are arranged, with the aid of nuts (6) or the like, to hold these plates at a desired distance from each other in order to hold the core of heat exchanger plates together, wherein at least one guiding element (7, 7a, 7b) for guiding the first end plate (2) and the heat exchanger plates (4) relatively the second end plate (3) is releasably arranged on at least one of the threaded tightening bolts (5a, 5b), which guiding element (7a) extends through an aperture (8) in the first end plate (2), where the at least one guiding element (7a, 7b) is provided with a through-hole (9) to receive the at least one of the threaded tightening bolts (5a, 5b) and an external geometry (10) corresponding to a cut-out (11
