  • Patent number: 11135665
Abstract: A handheld power tool (100) comprising at least one orientation sensor (150) is provided. The handheld power tool (100) is operatively connected to a controller (160; 210) and said controller (160; 210) is configured to receive orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150), wherein the orientation data comprises information associated with an orientation of at least a portion of the handheld power tool (100) and to determine operational data based on the orientation data, said operational data representing work performed using the handheld power tool (100). The operational data is determined by determining the orientation of the power tool based on the received orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150).

  • Patent number: 10918015
Abstract: A trimmer head arranged to be driven to rotate a trimmer line, where the trimmer head includes a housing and an inner body connected to a trimmer line spool. The inner body is arranged to be movable relative the housing so that a trimmer line spooled around the trimmer line spool is released and pulled out by a centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the trimmer head, thereby allowing feed of the trimmer line. The trimmer further includes drive means for driving the trimmer head to rotate, and the trimmer is arranged to cause a relative movement of the inner body relative the housing by changing the rotation speed of the trimmer head.

  • Publication number: 20180271010
Abstract: A trimmer head (1) arranged to be driven to rotate a trimmer line (3), wherein the trimmer head comprises a housing (1a, 1b) and an inner body (1c) connected to a trimmer line spool (13, 39), the trimmer head being characterized in that the inner body is arranged to be movable relative the housing so that a trimmer line spooled around the trimmer line spool is released and to be pulled out by a centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the trimmer head, thereby allowing feed of the trimmer line. A trimmer (10) comprising a trimmer head according to above, wherein the trimmer further comprises drive means (2, 4) for driving the trimmer head to rotate and wherein the trimmer is arranged to cause a relative movement of the inner body relative the housing by changing the rotation speed of the trimmer head.

  • Publication number: 20160106280
Abstract: A vacuum attachment (1) for a blower (2), comprising: an input air channel (3) having an air inlet (4); and a through channel (5) from a vacuum inlet (6) to an outlet (7), in which the input air channel (3) terminates in a port (8) in the through channel (5), in which the port (8) is positioned so as to direct air flowing from the input air channel (3) in a direction through the through channel (5) away from the vacuum inlet (6), in which the air inlet (4) has a mounting surface (9) on which can be mounted an air outlet (10) of the blower (2) in a releasable and re-engagable manner. Thus, with a blower (2) connected to the air inlet (4), an airflow introduced at the air inlet (4) will cause an airflow from the vacuum inlet (6) to the outlet (7), entraining debris with the airflow.

  • Publication number: 20150336288
Abstract: A chainsaw (100) includes a power unit, a bar (120), a chain (122) operably coupled to the bar (120) to rotate around the bar (120) responsive to drive power from the power unit, an oil pump operably coupled to the power unit to deliver oil to the chain (122), an oil reservoir (150, 300, 400) and a cap (152, 200, 420). The oil reservoir (300) is configured to hold oil for delivery from the oil pump to the chain (122) and includes a fill opening (310) having a substantially circular shaped orifice in a portion of the oil reservoir (150, 300, 400). The oil cap (152, 200, 420) is configured to be securable into the fill opening (310) responsive to engagement between the oil cap (152, 200, 420) and the fill opening (310). The fill opening (310) defines an axial sealing surface (330, 460) and a radial sealing surface (340, 450). The axial sealing surface (330, 460) defines a continuous surface extending around a periphery of the fill opening (310).
