  • Publication number: 20250242937
Abstract: A system (10) for an aircraft (100), including an electric motor (12) configured for propulsion of the aircraft; a motor control unit (14); a first fluid cooling circuit (16) arranged to circulate a first fluid (18a-c) and comprising at least one first cooling channel (20) in the at least one motor control unit; a first heat exchanger (22) connected to the first fluid cooling circuit for providing cooling to the first fluid cooling circuit; a ram air inlet (24) arranged to provide cooling to the first heat exchanger; a second fluid cooling circuit (26) arranged to circulate a second fluid (28a-b) and comprising at least one second cooling channel (30) in the electric motor; and a second heat exchanger (32), wherein the first fluid cooling circuit is arranged to provide cooling or heating to the second fluid cooling circuit via the second heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 11434960
Abstract: A method for motion control of a shift sleeve in a stepped gear transmission during a synchronization and gear engagement sequence for avoiding gear teeth interference, wherein the stepped gear transmission includes an axially displaceable shift sleeve arranged on and rotationally secured to a shaft, and a constant mesh gear wheel arranged on and rotatable relative to said shaft.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 11, 2021
Date of Patent: September 6, 2022
Assignee: NINGBO GEELY AUTOMOBILE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CO.
Inventors: Johan Hellsing, Muddassar Zahid Piracha
  • Patent number: 11384968
Abstract: A method for controlling a heat pump system. The heat pump system includes a compressor for compressing a working fluid of the heat pump system and an electric motor for providing an output torque for driving the compressor. The method includes the steps of recovering heat emitted from the electric motor by heating the working fluid, providing a first control mode and a second control mode for the electric motor, and controlling the electrical motor in a way creating higher heat losses of the electric motor for a given output torque of the electric motor in the second control mode than in the first control mode.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 12, 2022
Assignee: NINGBO GEELY AUTOMOBILE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CO. LTD.
