Abstract: This invention is directed to an automatic securing system for locking and unlocking an ISO container or the like to a load carrier. The securing system comprises a pair of rails fixed on the load carrier which includes a number of twistlock devices releaseably fixed at selected positions on the rails to automatically lock the container down on the load carrier. The system also includes a release mechanism on the rails that automatically and simultaneously unlocks and releases the engaged twistlocks from the container and the rails. The release mechanism also allows unlocked and released twistlocks to be moved and fixed to different seating positions on the rails to permit automatic locking down of containers with different lengths.

Abstract: A cargo carrying flatrack used as an intermediate separate unit between a cargo container and a ISO vehicular load carrier. The flatrack provides longitudinal impact protection for containerized cargo, through an upper frame carrying the cargo which moves against a cushioning device which absorbs impacts engaged to a lower frame on the ISO carrier. The upper frame is movable within limits in the longitudinal direction allowing the upper frame to stroke with the loaded container at sudden impacts.

Abstract: An automatic hold down and locking as well as automatic load configuration change capability device system, which can be used to hold down and lock either one long container or several shorter containers within the same loading space, regardless of the outside width or width of bottom side rail flange on the container. The locking device system has four fixed non-retractable fully automatic locking devices positioned on the load carrier at the four outer standard locking points of each long container, and at least two retractable fully automatic locking devices positioned at the long side of the load carrier between and in line with the outer locking points.
