    Abstract: A method for eliminating the disturbance caused by a mobile station (MS) situated within a certain area 1. In order to be able to prevent disturbance caused by a mobile station reliably, the mobile station (MS) is provided with control means for the muting of the mobile station as a response to a predetermined message (S1) transmitted to the mobile station, and transmitting means (BTS) are arranged in said certain area 1 for the transmitting of said predetermined message to a mobile station situated in the area 1 in order to mute the mobile station.
