  • Patent number: 11910962
Abstract: A sensor device is provided to detect a filling status of a consumable in a dispenser, the consumable being web material, and the filling status relating to a spatial extension of the consumable in the dispenser. The sensor device includes a capacitive sensor having an elongated and planar sensor area; and a first measurement section configured to measure the filling status of the dispenser. The capacitive sensor includes a first channel and a second channel. The first measurement section is configured to measure the filling status of the dispenser based on changes in capacitance detected by the first channel and the second channel.

  • Patent number: 9892372
Abstract: A data collection and monitoring system for a defined space within a public or commercial facility, comprising: a plurality of sensors of which at least one sensor is arranged for monitoring the level of a consumable in connection with said space; and a data collecting unit arranged for wirelessly communicating with said sensors and furthermore arranged for communicating with a central server associated with a storage medium. The storage medium is adapted for storing and monitoring data related to said space. The system is arranged so that said data collecting unit is arranged for minimizing the amount of data transmitted, by transferring data from said sensors to said central server upon a status change of at least one of said sensors.

  • Publication number: 20140367401
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing paper or non-woven sheet product for wiping, wherein the level of sheet product contained in the dispenser decreases as the sheet product is dispensed, the dispenser comprising an ultrasonic level sensor for determining the level of the sheet product contained in the dispenser, wherein the ultrasonic sensor is arranged to direct the ultrasonic beam toward a surface associated with the sheet product, wherein a distance that the beam travels to the surface changes progressively as the level of the sheet product in the dispenser changes from a full condition to an empty condition.
