The food preparation container includes at least a first handle designed so that the receptacle can be handled while keeping it in a normal position with the main opening positioned at the top of the receptacle. The food preparation container includes a second handle comprising a body which has an underside with a cavity extending deep into the body, the cavity designed to accommodate at least the distal phalanges of at least the three middle fingers of a hand and to allow the receptacle to be held suspended by the distal phalanges in an inclined position for pouring or scraping the food preparation.
