  • Patent number: 11876368
Abstract: A converter system for transferring power, a vehicle including such a converter system and a method for transferring power in such a converter system. The converter system includes a first DC-DC module, a second DC-DC module and a first control unit. The first DC-DC module is connected to a first high voltage interface of a high voltage system and to a first low voltage interface of a low voltage system. The second DC-DC module is connected to a second high voltage interface of the high voltage system and to a second low voltage interface of the low voltage system. The first high voltage interface and the second interface are independent of each other. The first control unit is connected to the first DC-DC module and configured to supply power via the second DC-DC module in case of a failure in the first DC-DC module.

  • Patent number: 9192771
Abstract: In an implantable medical device and a method for assembly thereof, a hermetically sealed housing encloses electronic circuitry and has a housing fastener part that is formed of metal and that protrudes from the housing. A per-fabricated header, for receiving conducting leads and for connecting the conducting leads to the electronic circuitry, has a header fastener part also formed of metal. The header is fastened to the housing by metal-to-metal welding of the housing fastener part and the header fastener part at a distance from the housing.

  • Patent number: 8574241
Abstract: A steerable stylet for a medical implantable lead has an inner lumen, into which the steerable stylet is insertable for navigating a distal end of the medical implantable lead to the desired location for attachment to tissue. The steerable stylet comprises a wire, a tube and an actuator. By means of the steerable stylet, the distal portion of the lead may be bent in desirable degree and, when the medical implantable lead is bent, the distal portion of the medical implantable lead is pivotal by means of the actuator to which the proximal end of the wire is non-rotatably connected. The tube is connected to the actuator by means of a torque limitation device which, when exceeding a predetermined torque force, will disconnect the torque connection between the tube and the actuator. A method for manufacturing of a steerable stylet for a medical implantable lead includes the step of connecting the stylet tube to the actuator by a torque limiting device as described above.

  • Publication number: 20040232597
Abstract: In a method for sealing an access channel provided for permitting a tool to access a setscrew for securing an electronic lead connector pin to a connector block in the header of a pacemaker or the like, a sealing device having a flexible body with at least one open through hole is formed in a one-step operation. The sealing device has a cross dimension that at least in one direction is larger than a corresponding cross dimension of the access channel. The sealing device is mounted in the header by compressing and positioning the sealing device in the access channel. The difference in cross dimension between the access channel and the sealing device is such that a maintained deformation of the sealing device occurs, which produces a sealing closure of the through hole(s) when the sealing device is mounted in the access channel.
