    Abstract: There is provided a method for multi-user packet transmission in a Wireless Local Area Network, WLAN. The method comprises actively delaying (S1) packets before transmission to enable clustering of packets intended for multiple users. The method also comprises simultaneously transmitting (S2) the clustered packets to the multiple users. By actively delaying and clustering packets intended for multiple users in a data buffer of a WLAN network node, efficient multi-user packet transmission is enabled. This results in significantly improved system performance such as system throughput.

    Abstract: There is provided access to a communications channel in a wireless communications network. Stations (STAs) associated with an access point (AP) are grouped in at least two groups of STAs, each group being associated with a minimum transmission power level needed by the AP to communicate with the STAs in that group. A first time interval is allocated for a first group of STAs associated with highest minimum transmission power to access the communications channel concurrently with a third time interval being allocated by another AP for a third group of STAs associated with lowest minimum transmission power level needed by said another AP to communicate with the third group of STAs to access the communications channel.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a first station (STA1) and a method performed by a first station (STA1) for handling Request-to-Send/Clear-to-Send, RTS/CTS, transmissions in a wireless communications network (100). The first station (STA1) receives a RTS/CTS transmission relating to a second Basic Service Set (BSS2).     Abstract: There is provided a method, performed by a network node associated with at least two wireless communication devices, for scheduling packet transmission over a radio-based medium. The method comprises sensing (S1) the radio-based medium by estimating a received signal level, and evaluating (S2), for each of the at least two wireless communication devices, whether the radio-based medium is accessible or free for transmission based on comparing the received signal level to a respective threshold associated with the considered wireless communication device. The method further comprises scheduling (S3) packet transmission over the radio-based medium based on the evaluating, for each of the at least two wireless communication devices, whether the radio-based medium is accessible or free for transmission.
