  • Patent number: 10100830
Abstract: A membrane-based piston pump (400) is used for pumping a liquid product. The pump is provided with a device (426) for maintaining a pre-defined hydraulic fluid volume in the pump. The device includes an axle element (440) and a bushing element (432). A method for pumping a liquid product in a pump may use the membrane-based piston pump. A homogenizer may include the membrane-based piston pump.

Date of Patent: October 16, 2018
Assignee: Tetra Laval Holdings & Finance S.A.
    Inventors: Johan Stenbeck, Isac Salman
  • Patent number: 10060429
Abstract: A conductivity sensor is provided. The sensor comprises at least one electrode being embedded in a cylindrical non-conductive body such that one end of each one of the at least one electrode is exposed to a sample volume, wherein the sensor further comprises a support body to which the cylindrical body is engagable with, which support body comprises means for attaching said support body to a frame structure in a fluid tight manner.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 19, 2014
Date of Patent: August 28, 2018
Assignee: TETRA LAVAL HOLDINGS & FINANCE S.A.
    Inventors: Johan Stenbeck, Fredrik Johansson
  • Patent number: 10018192
Abstract: A membrane arrangement to be placed between a product chamber and a hydraulic oil chamber is provided. The membrane arrangement comprises a first membrane and a second membrane. Between the membranes in a membrane interior space a marker liquid is placed. By using a sensor it can be detected when product or hydraulic oil enters the membrane interior space, which in turn means that a rupture of any of the two membranes may be detected in a reliable and cost efficient way.

  • Publication number: 20150345487
Abstract: A membrane comprises a main body having a first side and a second side. The main body is made of an elastic material in order to forward a pressure e.g. formed by a piston. On the second side it is provided a coating made of plastic material such that the main body is not affected by cleaning agents, abrasive products or the like coming in contact with the second surface.
