  • Patent number: 5368272
Abstract: A formwork panel has a board and a frame for the board. The frame is made up of strips of sheet material which extend along respective edges of the board and project from the edges at right angles to the board. Each strip has a flat longitudinal marginal portion adjacent to the board and a flat longitudinal marginal portion remote from the board. The marginal portions of a strip are located in a common plane. Each strip further has two protrusions which respectively extend from the marginal portions of the strip towards the opposite strip of the frame and define recesses opening away from the opposite strip. A protuberance is disposed between the two protrusions of a strip. Each protuberance extends from the adjoining protrusions away from the opposite strip and defines a depression opening towards the opposite strip.

  • Patent number: 5273251
Abstract: A form for use in shutterings for the pouring of concrete has a panel with a marginal portion reinforced by a hollow frame having an outer wall which is normal to the panel and a second wall remote from the panel, integral with the outer wall and having one or more sockets for reception of the working end of a crowbar serving to lift and/or otherwise displace or reorient the form. Each socket can constitute a recess or an opening in the second wall. The second wall is or can be disposed between the outer wall and an inner wall which is parallel to the outer wall and extends to the rear side of the marginal portion of the panel. The second wall can be reinforced in the region where it is engaged by the working end of the crowbar in order to reduce the likelihood of deformation of the frame, particularly of the outer wall which contacts a support, abuts a ceiling or is in abutment with the frame of an adjacent form in an assembled shuttering.

  • Patent number: 5265973
Abstract: A device (1) serves for connecting accessory parts (2) to formwork panels, compensating members or suchlike formwork members having stiffening webs or stiffening profiles (3) on their side averted form the forming surface. The device (1) has an essentially U-shaped cross section, the U-arms (4) having fastening locations (5), preferably bores, for the accessory parts (2) such as booms, adjustable props, platform brackets or the like, and in the position of use the U-crosspiece (6) butting and being drawn fast against a stiffening profile (3) and above all against a cross web (3b) provided on this profile (3).

  • Patent number: 5160640
Abstract: A formwork panel has a face plate which is mounted on a frame made up of structural shapes. The panel is reinforced by a set of spaced, parallel reinforcing beams mounted on the back of the face plate. Additional beams are disposed between selected pairs of reinforcing beams. The additional beams are perpendicular to the reinforcing beams and are spaced from the frame. Each additional beam is provided with an opening which registers with a corresponding opening in the face plate. The registering openings receive tie rods which connect two facing formwork panels to one another so as to define a pouring space for concrete.

  • Patent number: 5146816
Abstract: A clamp for connecting a pair of formwork panels which are to be disposed side-by-side in a common plane has two clamping members. Each of the clamping members includes a clamping arm for urging the panels together and an adjusting arm which is approximately perpendicular to the respective clamping arm. The clamping members are pivotally mounted on a U-shaped support and the adjusting arms are disposed internally of the support with their free ends overlapping. The clamping arms project from the support and are located on the same side of the latter as the transverse web bridging the legs of the support. The legs are provided with registering openings which are elongated transversely of the adjusting arms. A pivot extends through the overlapping ends of the adjusting arms and into the openings. The pivot is guided by the openings for movement transversely of the adjusting arms and carries an eccentric disc which is arranged to bear against the transverse web of the support.
