  • Patent number: 12337777
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a body component and a wing element pivotably coupled to the body component such that the wing element pivots relative to the body component about a pivot axis between a neutral starting position and a first pivot position. A control device of the motor vehicle detects an impending collision of the motor vehicle with a collision object located in the surroundings of the motor vehicle. Upon detecting the impending collision, the control device automatically pivots the wing element toward the body component from the neutral starting position to the first pivot position. The control device of the motor vehicle evaluates a severity of the collision and, depending upon the severity, automatically pivots the wing element away from the body component from the first pivot position to the neutral starting position.

  • Publication number: 20250128700
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for supporting a parking process of a motor vehicle by projecting a light marking by means of a lighting device onto a wall surface visible to the person parking. At least one image of a wall surface is taken. The at least one image is analyzed to ascertain a three-dimensional structure shown in or on the wall surface. Then, a light marking is determined such that it has a marking border that is a negative of the structure border. Finally, the light marking is projected onto the wall surface, wherein the position of the marking border changes relative to the structure border depending on the distance or position of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20180290504
Abstract: A pressure safeguard device (1) for wheels filled with compressed gas comprises at least two tubes which are arranged next to one another in such a way as to run around the tire axis, each of said tubes having a supply line (3) for compressed gas and a common supply connection (4). On each supply line (3), a connectable and releasable connection is formed between the tube (2) and the common supply connection (4). Preferably, the tubes (2) are releasably connected, by means of a connection device (5, 6) which is separate from the tire, so as to form a stack of tubes (2) which directly adjoin one another along their circumference by way of side regions. If one tube (2) is damaged, the other tubes (2) remain intact and expand together into the entire area between the rim (7) and the tire (8). By topping up the intact tubes with compressed gas, the desired tire pressure can be achieved without changing the wheel or the tire.
