  • Patent number: 8863936
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for transporting packagings from a packaging apparatus having two dropping channels to a transport container. A first transport element has compartments, the center-to-center distance of which corresponds to a center-to-center distance of the dropping channels, receives the packagings from the packaging producing apparatus. A second transport element has compartments for transporting the packagings to the transport container, wherein the center-to-center distance of the compartments of the second transport element corresponds to half of the center-to-center distance of the dropping channels. The apparatus has a transfer unit for transferring the packaging from the first transport element to the second transport element, and to which a positioning device is assigned for positioning the compartments of the first transport element relative to the compartments of the second transport element.

  • Patent number: 6357623
Abstract: A stack of folded cardboard boxes (5, 6) is arranged in a magazine (1). Each folded cardboard box (5, 6) has a plane of main extension (7) and two parallel side edges (9, 10). The folded cardboard boxes (5, 6) arrive in the stack in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of main extension (7). The two parallel side edges (9, 10) of the first folded cardboard box (5) in the stack are first contacted and supported by a first stop (11) and by a second stop (12). The first folded cardboard box (5) is then conveyed in the direction toward the second stop (12) within the plane of main extension (7) until it enters an opening (18) being located in the region of the second stop (12) and it gets totally free from contact to the first stop (11) to be exclusively supported by the opening (18) and by the second stop (12).

  • Patent number: 6347709
Abstract: A method of transferring packing units from a receiving station to a stack building station includes the steps of delivering the packing units to the receiving station in a plurality of rows and in a plurality of tracks in a conveying direction, accepting the packing units in a plurality of rows and in a plurality of tracks at a transfer apparatus, removing all packing units of desired properties from a first row not only including packing units of desired properties, storing the at least one packing unit of desired properties, and positioning the at least one stored packing unit of desired properties in a row following the first row, so that only rows of packing units of desired properties are collected at the stack building station.

  • Patent number: 4901290
Abstract: The apparatus for the generation of pressure pulses in a drilling mud composition which flows downward in a drill string (1) is composed of a valve (V) inside the drill string (1), with a stationary, braced, tubular exterior housing (3), tubular primary valve (4) which can be translated from a lower starting position against the flow direction (2) of the drilling mud composition into an upper operational end position, a stationary, tubular support (5) in a coaxial position inside primary valve (4), and a pilot valve (13), (14) actuated by motor means (15). Exterior housing (3) and primary valve (4) define a constricted segment (29) whose flow cross section can be modified by the position of primary valve (4), and primary valve (4) and the support (5) surround an interior flow channel (21), (12) and (10), which can be opened and closed by outlet orifice (13) of pilot valve (13), (14).

  • Patent number: 4875531
Abstract: A core drilling tool with direct drive consisting of an outer pipe that can be connected to a drilling shaft, a core drilling appliance reciprocally mountable in the outer pipe which in turn includes a core barrel that carries a drill bit and an inner pipe mounted in rotatable relation therewith and for reciprocal movement therewith, and a drilling mud driven motor that is integrally coupled to the core drilling appliance and is secured against rotation in the outer pipe and having reaction faces that are put under pressure to produce a downward axial feed force acting on both the core drilling appliance and the motor, plus a capture device for pulling up the motor together with the core drilling appliance. In order to produce a sufficiently great axial feed force of an adjustable size that is essentially independent of the exposure of the core drilling appliance, the motor is connected to the core drilling appliance to form a common movable unit and devices are provided for adjusting the axial feed force.

  • Patent number: 4614232
Abstract: A device for delivering flowable materials from a production bore (2), consisting of a source of pressurized medium (1), a pressurized medium conduit (3) for conducting the pressurized medium into the bottom area of the bore, the pressurized medium being used to operate drive means (5) coupled to a pump (6) for the flowable material. The drive means (5) and the pump (6) are both rotary displacement devices having a spiral rotor (10, 12) which describes an eccentric rotational path within a spiral stator (11,13). The rotor (10) and the stator (11) of the drive means (5) and the rotor (12) and the stator (13) of the pump (6) have the same eccentricity and are rigidly connected to one another.
