  • Publication number: 20130096755
Abstract: In a hybrid vehicle which has a plurality of drives, of which in particular one drive is a combustion engine and the other is an electric drive, all the drive control units, if appropriate even a transmission control unit, require enabling by an immobilizer control unit before the first control unit outputs control commands to communicate a torque request, input by a vehicle driver.

  • Publication number: 20120058231
Abstract: A tubular bag packaging for bar-shaped food products is made of a film with first and second longitudinal edges. The film has a first seal section at the first longitudinal edge. A flap section at the second longitudinal edge has a second seal section along the second longitudinal edge. The film is closed at the seal sections by forming a continuous back seam in longitudinal direction as a fold-over seam. The film is sealed at transverse edges by transverse seams. The back seam has end face edges adjoining the transverse seams. The flap section has a linear separation cut as a tearing aid disposed on at least one of the end face edges and extending away from the end face edge in longitudinal direction. The film in the area of the second seal section with linear separating cut has a pressure deformation line that extends in longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7762230
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating at least one drive motor, particularly an internal combustion engine, of an automobile, particularly a motor vehicle, wherein the engine speed of the drive motor in the detected idle state of the motor vehicle does not exceed a predetermined maximum value by means of engine speed limitation. It is provided that the idle state detected is verified at least once by means of a test cycle.

  • Publication number: 20100132665
Abstract: The motion of a piston in an engine is braked, for example, within the scope of a method for controlling the engine speed, in that ignition takes place prior to a predetermined optimum ignition point. In this way, more than half of the fuel burns before the piston reaches top dead center. Thus, before the actual stroke of performing work, the motion of the piston is opposed and the piston and thus the crankshaft are braked.

  • Publication number: 20070207861
Abstract: A doorframe is provided that uses angled display areas in a single frame to allow more than one display means to be mounted or placed behind the door with the viewing area facing outward. This allows a player to more comfortably view a multiple-display gaming machine from a single location while at the same time, allows attendants or engineers working on a gaming machine to more readily access the internal workings of the gaming machine by having to only open a single door.

  • Patent number: 6790513
Abstract: An apparatus is used to apply glass elements with a non-mirrored rear side to, in particular, a textile substrate. The predominant proportion of the glass elements is in the form of balls (1). At least 5% of the glass elements comprise flat boundary surfaces, and the glass elements are applied to the front side (3) of a foil (5) to form a surface. At least a portion of the glass elements comprises balls (1) provided with facets (2).

  • Patent number: 6684689
Abstract: The activation of a swirl control valve which is seated downstream of a throttle valve in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine is diagnosed. The swirl control valve is activated by a specific adjustment travel within a supercritical operating range of the intake pipe pressure in the intake tract downstream of the throttle valve. If a specific jump in pressure that is dependent on the adjustment travel does not take place in the intake tract downstream of the throttle valve, a defect in the actuation of the swirl control valve is diagnosed.

  • Patent number: 6619262
Abstract: An internal combustion engine having cylinders with injection valves and air mass-setting actuators, an air/fuel ratio sensor detecting the ratio in the individual cylinders, and a sensor detecting a torque generated in the individual cylinders or differences in the torques generated in the cylinders includes individually determining the air/fuel ratio for each cylinder, individually correcting an activation of the fuel injection valve for each cylinder as a function of the detected air/fuel ratio and of a desired value of the air/fuel ratio, determining the variable characterizing the torque or the differences in the torque for each cylinder, individually correcting an activation of the air mass-setting actuator for each cylinder as a function of the detected value of the variable characterizing the torque or of the variable characterizing the difference in the torque specifically with the effect of assimilating the torques generated by the individual cylinders.
