  • Publication number: 20120098335
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method that can enable generators for producing electrical energy to be kept stable on the network during and following a line failure, such as a voltage dip. This requirement is defined in the network connection conditions of many network operators and must be observed for installations of a certain power. According to the invention, during a line failure, a load is inserted, enabling the energy that can no longer be supplied to the electric network due to the voltage drop to be absorbed by the load.

  • Patent number: 7372172
Abstract: Arrangement for generating electrical power from a flowing medium, wherein the arrangement includes a plurality of turbine generator units. At least some of the plurality of generator units are arranged at least one of one above another and one beside another. At least some of the plurality of generator units are connected to one another to form at least one module. At least one of the plurality of generator units includes a synchronous generator having permanent magnetic poles for excitation. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
