  • Patent number: 5873164
Abstract: A fan wheel for high-temperature operation, especially in ovens, includes a star-like or ray-like base plate having a central middle region, protrusions protruding substantially radially beyond the central middle region and having an outer contour, axially drawn up blades disposed on the protrusions and a base plate surface with axially drawn up segments extending from the middle region into the vicinity of the protrusions. According to one embodiment, the segments include a central, annular segment and star-like or ray-like segments adjoining the central, annular segment and extending through the protrusions of the base plate substantially symmetrically with the outer contour. According to another embodiment, the segments include a central, annular segment and star-like or ray-like segments adjoining the central, annular segment, originating from the central, annular segment and following the outer contour of the base plate.

  • Patent number: 5763857
Abstract: A heating home appliance, in particular a household appliance such as an oven, includes an appliance space having at least one heating body. At least one multi-ply layer of air-tight foils at least partly surrounds the appliance space, enclosing air chambers, being at least peripherally joined together and otherwise being kept mutually spaced apart from one another. The at least one foil layer has foil edges, with an air-tight-sealed edge on all sides being formed of the foil edges and forming a flexible fastening and/or connecting element.

  • Patent number: 4870546
Abstract: A lighting device for household appliances such as ovens, includes an electric lamp socket formed of electrically insulating material preventing leakage currents. Contact parts are disposed in the socket. The socket has an access side with a plug-in opening formed therein into which a lamp with a glass bulb, a lamp base of insulating material and contact prongs protruding from the lamp base is to be plugged into contact with the contact parts in a given plug-in direction. An electrically conductive and protectively grounded protective element covers at least the access side of the lamp socket and extends to the vicinity of at least one of the glass bulb and the lamp base. The protective element and the contact parts are spaced apart by a distance being greater than the length of the contact prongs by a required margin of safety, as seen in the given plug-in direction.

  • Patent number: 4354084
Abstract: In a double baking oven unit having two baking ovens disposed one above the other and enclosed in a common housing, one of the ovens being a microwave oven, and switching, control and operating devices for both of the ovens disposed in an upper space in the housing, cooling-air channels formed with inlet and outlet openings provided outside the two baking ovens, shielding plates thermally shielding the lower baking oven from the upper baking oven and from the cooling-air channels, the cooling-air inlet opening being located at a lower limit of the housing below the lower baking oven and below a shielding plate associated therewith, the cooling-air outlet opening as well as a blower being connected to an exhaust channel disposed above the upper baking oven.

  • Patent number: 4303817
Abstract: Microwave oven having an oven muffle connected to a high frequency oscillator and a rotatable shaft brought through an opening in a metallic muffle wall with clearance. To prevent microwave energy which is brought into the cooking chamber or muffle from a high frequency generator from getting to the outside through the opening in the muffle wall, i.e. through the clearance, a microwave seal is provided comprising a metallic disc spaced a short distance from and parallel to the muffle wall to form a gap-like microwave transmission line and an annular slot-like microwave pocket adjacent the transmission line with the opening of the pocket next to the opening in the muffle wall.
